Poetry Rendevouz @ VoW

The urge to write has come often,
To spread the joy and to lament,
but I did not pick up my pen
for there was no encouragement!

Valley of Words (VoW) is delighted to encourage and recognize the latent muse in all of us. The Poetry Rendezvous is for authors and poets (and anyone with verses bubbling in their hearts) who love to write but feel a sense of inhibition and haven’t been published yet. It’s time to check old leaves, retrieve the ‘notes’ on your pads, or just sit down for a coffee and put down your thoughts.

Type:
Quartets, Octets and Sonnets accepted.

We will accept any subject matter as long as the rules are adhered to.

Rules:

1. People of any age can write in to us.

2. Submit up to three original poems in English and/or Hindi

3. The written content should be in electronic (e-copy) form and can be submitted in the following formats: pdf, docx, txt

4. Submissions to be accompanied by 2-3 mug-shots of the writer.

The ten best entries will receive a citation and a prize at VoW!
