Book Awards
Valley of Words (VoW) is a one-of-a-kind, non-profit and volunteer-driven initiative of The Valley of Words Foundation Trust. which ahs now assumed the shape of a pan-India movement. Over the course of the last 4 years, VoW has brought together finest writing, writers, critics and listeners from the worlds of fiction, non-fiction and poetry in its marquee, three-day Literature and Arts festival which also encompasses the eagerly awaited annual Book Awards.
Mission
Valley of Words believes that literature and art has the potential of engaging people of all age groups, especially students and youth to : look beyond the immediate, place “facts” in perspective, question the “why”, engage in lateral thinking, and explore options that have the potential of making the world a better place.
Valley of Words (VoW) encourages the young and the old alike to: transcend their limitations, scale new heights, explore new passions,and most importantly; re- discover the art of listening, engaging in critical discourse, and appreciating excellence in others!
