For the last three years, Vox Populi has been one of the most popular sessions at Valley of Words. Parliamentarians engaged in a freewheeling debate on an issue which is politically contested, and the multiple shades, opinions and perspectives are brought to the table. This year, the session is also a tribute to late DP Tripathi and active participant in these debates. The subject chosen was close to DPT – for he would often talk about the asymmetry of political power amongst the states of India. The frequent creation of new states and Union Territories, besides the unfulfilled aspirations of   socio cultural sub regions will now come up for consideration under the title:


Restructuring of States: Inevitable or Justifiable!?

Topic of the Debate:- Homeschooling is better than traditional schooling i.e Online Education Vs the face to face classes.

Time:- 05 Minutes

**In order to ensure smooth conduct of the competition, the following format will be followed:

Round 1 | Cluster Level | By 10.10.2020 | To be planned at RO

Round 2 | Regional Level | by 15 October 2020 | To be planned at RO

Round 3 | KVS National Level | by 10th November 2020 | one best entry from the Region – for/ against the motion in either -Hindi or English.(Total 25 entries)

Round 4 | National Level Participation organized by the Valley of Words | 21st November 2020 | 2 students (for / against the motion, in either Hindi/English) will be selected to participate in the competition.


The details of students selected at Regional Level for KVS National level competition may be forwarded to this office by 5th Nov, 2020 in the following format on email id

  3. Name of Vidyalaya
  4. Name of the students
  5. Class
  6. English/ Hindi
  7. For/against the motion


** The same rules and procedure as given above applies to JNV, with applications being forwarded to them directly.
