Entwined
My longing begins to germinate
Swell
Rapidly on the ridges
Of your heart
Timid ticks of my timepiece
Reassured
Hushed
Lulled
By your paddy-perfumed pant
By way of times such
I set foot on a future fairly unfamiliar
As your hand you fondly lend
With your love, as you coax and tend
It is beauty that blankets my way
My thoughts wander and stray
And pick diamonds in the bay
That bejewel this enchanted day!
