An Author’s Word: Sakoon Singh
- If not an author, which other creative field would one find you in and why?
I could have been an architect or a musician. I think the common thread runningĀ through all these is the ability to imagine and creatively evoke, and to be able to work with abstractions, which I enjoy.
- What does the written word mean to you?
The written word is incredible: it has a silent capacity to transport you to eras of the future and past, into lands far away, into the minds of characters that are nothing like you. It can be a time-machine and it can be a perspective shift.
Ā

- E-Book or physical book? What do you prefer and why?
Physical book. Any day! Itās an entity that acquires a personality, it ages, you can return to it anytime, Ā fuss about its cover artwork, grow old with it, make it your very own with scribbles on the margins.
